HOW TO REFILL YOUR WASHER FLUID?
First make sure your car is switched off and the engine is cool, pop your hood and located in the engine bay is your washer fluid bottle, it will usually have an icon of a windscreen with water spraying at it. If you’re not sure when it is you can take a look in your vehicles instruction manual.
Open the lid of the washer fluid reservoir and pour a small amount of windscreen washer additive into the bottle. You can purchase this at all good car supply stores and even in some grocery stores. You can check the level by removing the plastic strip that is inside the washer fluid bottle to see what level is already present.
Using clean water, fill the washer bottle to the fill line, if you can’t see where it is, pour the fluid until there is a few inches gap between the water level and the top. Remember to close the lid when you are finished to prevent dirt getting into the bottle. Close the hood and start your car to check and see that your windscreen wipers are spraying and cleaning your windshield properly.
If the reservoir is full and not spraying onto your windscreen, you may have a clog in the water line try cleaning out the windscreen wiper nozzle and turn it on again to see if that was the issue. If it still won’t work, you may need to bring it in to Express Lube for a closer look.
