Express Lube are a NO booking auto service centre, so you can drop in at any time. Check in with reception, and our friendly staff will talk you through our services, we’ll give you a quote of what the service or repair will cost and how long it will take.
Every vehicle is designed differently.
The car manufacturers develop a handbook of servicing to ensure efficiency is maintained throughout the life of your vehicle. Having your car serviced at the recommended intervals mean any issues can be quickly spotted and replaced which, if left unchecked could cause damage to your car and end up costing you in the long run.
We create a job card with a checklist for each service, repair or safety inspection. There is a long list of tasks that we perform to ensure your car is given a thorough check over. We check the outside, as well as what’s going on inside to make sure everything is in working order. We check all your fluids, replace your oil filter and change the oil, your brakes, tyres and suspension are evaluated, and we make a note of any repairs and adjustments made to your vehicle, so you know what work has been done. We then stamp your log book and place a sticker on your windscreen to remind you when your next service is due. We talk over the inspection with reception so the whole team know what’s happening with each job.
The time it takes to get a car serviced, will depend on the work that needs to be carried out.
A minor service is recommended every 6 months or 10,000km and should take about 1 hour.
A major service is recommended every 24 months or 40,000km and should take about 2 – 4hours.
We always try to provide short waiting times, but if we find a problem and need to replace parts or resolve an issue, it will take a little longer, we will contact you and talk you through what we’ve found and how we’ll fix it.
