We’re back! After closing due to a fire in May, the Express Lube West Gosford service centre is reopening on December 14, 2020.
2020 was a tough year for everyone, and our West Gosford service centre was no exception. In May, a fire left Express Lube Gosford – our first ever service centre – with extensive damage that would take some time to repair.
After months of repair work and equipment upgrades, including renovations to our air-conditioned waiting room and state-of-the-art machinery, the West Gosford centre is back! It’s brand-new, better than ever, and it reopens on December 14.
Express Lube West Gosford: The original no-booking-required service centre
Express Lube founder Damon Rybie moved to Australia in 2007, and soon had a disappointing – and in his mind, unacceptable – first experience with a mechanic. After being told the wait time for a basic repair service would be two weeks, Damon set out to do things differently.
Opening in 2009, West Gosford was the first location of Express Lube Australia, the first “No Booking Required” auto service centre. Over the years they’ve expanded their stores and added new locations and team members to the Express Lube family, creating great prospects for local employment and opportunities for young people to gain a skilled trade.
Though there are new workshops and teams, some things have never changed. Our customers know they will always receive the high standard of customer service, expert advice, reliable and affordable auto service and repair, every time.
