At Express Lube, we have contributed and partnered with some fantastic organisations and businesses who support our community. Over the next month across our social media channels we’ll be shining a spotlight on some of the great people that we support. We’re passionate about the Central Coast and are fortunate that we have the opportunity to make a difference.

Bombers

The Killarney Vale Australian Football Club, known as the Central Coast Bombers, was formed in 1978 and its Clubrooms and home ground are located at Adelaide Street Oval, Tumbi Umbi – in the Central Coast Region of NSW. The Club is affiliated with the Black Diamond AFL for its Senior operations and the AFL Hunter Coast for Juniors aged 5 -17.

Central Coast Group Training

Providing a connection to businesses, employees and school leavers to develop a strong support network to help them decide which direction to take. They offer employment solutions for the Central Coast and cater for all aspects of the employment lifecycle. With over 30 years of experience, CCGT has provided thousands of people with opportunities to start, change or refresh their careers.

Central Coast Mariners

Inaugurated in 2004, Central Coast Mariners FC is proud to be the first ever professional sporting entity to represent the Central Coast region on a national and international sporting stage. As a foundation team in the Hyundai A-League, they are one of ten sides competing annually for the ultimate prize in Australian Club football.

Cessnock Leagues Club

Home of the Goannas, with a function centre for weddings and parties. A bistro, lounge and sports bar. Cessnock Leagues club has long been a part of the community and a favourite by locals.

Davidstown RSL

‘The Davo’ offers a friendly atmosphere and outstanding facilities. The Club is committed to, and constantly working towards, providing members and guests with the best service. Included in our facilities is the well-known Broadwater Restaurant with its vast array of different dishes, and The Broadwater Grand Function Centre. Our Club also has three outdoor areas including kids play area.

Erina Leagues Club

From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll sense the friendly atmosphere and enjoy the best facilities and service that you would expect from the Central Coast’s finest club. Erina Leagues Club, which is situated in the heart of the thriving commercial hub of Erina on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW, welcomes you as a member, a guest, or a coach visitor.

Gosford Greyhounds

Racing primarily on Tuesday evenings, Gosford Greyhounds is operated by the NSW Greyhound Breeders, Owners and Trainers Association (NSW GBOTA). Thousands pass through the gates at their Showground Rd premises in Gosford each year to enjoy the greyhound racing experience.

Gosford Kariong RLFC

Gosford began playing rugby in 1892 and switched to rugby league in 1918. We claim to be the oldest football club on the Central Coast. The Gosford Kariong Storm (formally known as Gosford Giants, Gosford Townies, Kariong Kookaburras) is a rugby league club based on the Central Coast, New South Wales region of Australia. Known today as The Storm, we wear Dark Blue, Purple, Gold and White.

North Avoca SLSC

North Avoca SLSC volunteer lifesavers patrol North Avoca Beach between September – April on weekends.  Our Surf Club provides aquatic safety for all visitors, ensuring families enjoy their leisure time in safety. Volunteers have been patrolling North Avoca Beach since 1952.

NG Central school

NG Central School is designed for young people who need a supported, innovative and personalised approach to learning. We offer a dynamic, enterprise learning environment that gives students a new perspective on what it means to have skills and knowledge. At NG Central, we make it our mission to think outside the box when it comes to teaching and learning so that students feel engaged, positive and like they belong.

Ocean Beach SLSC

Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club was founded in 1922 and has been patrolling the on the shores of Broken Bay ever since. From humble beginnings the club has grown to over 500 members in 2014. Due to Ocean Beach’s excellent location and facilities, the club has been successful in hosting the Surf Life Saving NSW Championships from 2013 – 2016 and Round 3 of the 2017 SLSNSW IRB Racing Premiership. Ocean Beach SLSC was recognised as Surf Life Saving Central Coast ‘Club of the Year’ for the 2016/17 season.

Mingara Relay for Life Cancer Council

Relay For Life is a community fundraising challenge for Cancer Council NSW. Teams of friends, families and colleagues raise money in the lead up to an overnight event, where team members take turns walking around a track to signify that cancer never sleeps – and neither do we!

Sue Suters Ovarian Cancer Fund

Open to corporate sponsorship and individuals we offer Ambrose golf day with lunch and refreshments followed by a relaxed dinner function. With great prizes, a silent auction, special guest speakers and a chance to catch up with friends and colleagues – the Sue Suters Annual Golf and Dinner is a great way to have fun, connect with friends and colleagues and support this important community-based initiative.

Surf Life Saving Central Coast (SLSCC)

Responsible for the overall management, promotion and growth of Surf Lifesaving on the Central Coast. With fifteen clubs, 8,248 members and 77 years of tradition and achievements. SLSCC enjoys its position as one of Australia’s most successful, dynamic and celebrated Branches. Recognised as the SLSNSW ‘Branch of the Year’ for six of the past ten years!

 

Toowoon Bay Surf Life Saving Club

Formed in 1954 by a dedicated group of volunteers wishing to ensure the local community and the many visitors to the area, experience a safe surf environment. In 1998 the club revised its constitution to ensure relevance and recognition that times had changed. Amid this change, the club maintained the strong belief in surf safety and education and training for all.

Terrigal Public School

A dynamic community school focussed on providing students with the skills, knowledge and capacities to make sense of their world. We strive to ignite passion for learning and nurture curiosity. We support our students in their endeavours to contribute to the community. We encourage their talents and quest for fulfilment.

Terrigal Trojans

The Terrigal Trojans were established in 1974 and are one of the founding member clubs of the Central Coast Rugby Union. 

 

Westpac Helicopters

No one has ever had to pay to be assisted by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. That is because people in our community, along with the NSW Government, through NSW Health and NSW Ambulance, provide the funds to ensure the rescue helicopters are there when, and where, they are needed.

The Woy Woy Rugby Club mission is to build a family orientated club, which promotes the sport of rugby. To provide a fun, sociable and sporting atmosphere for all Club members. To foster friendship and lifelong bonds as well as protecting both the traditions and the future of the club.

Woy Woy Peninsula Little Athletics

Little Athletics is a uniquely Australian activity for children from 5 to 16 years. Woy Woy Peninsula Little Athletics is one of the centres across Australia. As the name suggests, it is based upon the sport of athletics (track and field). There is a wide range of events from running, jumping, throwing and walking and they are modified to suit the age and ability of the children.

 

Youth Connections

Is an experienced disability service provider for young people aged 12 – 25. We provide after-school, in-school and post-school programs and NDIS-registered supports. Everything we do is designed to develop independence, life skills, work-readiness and social networks. You deserve a service that celebrates your individuality, embraces your abilities and helps you live the life you want.
